About me

My story

I started my career hands on as a field engineer, building deep expertise across networking, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms. That technical grounding proved invaluable as I progressed through increasingly senior roles, from solutions architect to leading the enterprise architecture function for one of South Africa's largest financial services organisations.

An internal transfer opportunity took me to London, where I assumed responsibility for the full UK technology operations. After a brief return to South Africa, I was appointed as Executive Director on the board of the organisation's Jersey office, combining technology leadership with board level governance across a regulated offshore financial services environment.

That breadth of experience has shaped how I approach technology leadership. I have led digital transformations, built and managed geographically distributed teams, implemented cyber security governance frameworks, delivered cloud strategies, and navigated complex regulatory environments. More importantly, I have done all of this with a consistent focus on making technology work for the business, not the other way around.

Today, I am focused on what comes next. The pace of change in technology, particularly in artificial intelligence and automation, presents extraordinary opportunities for organisations willing to embrace it. My goal is to be at the forefront of that change, helping businesses navigate the evolving technology landscape with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
